This email is in regards to the Local Notice No. L-01/09 issued on June 26, 2009 (attached). It would be appreciated by those who have requested leave, so that they may participate in the Golf Tournament on July 4, 2009, that those who are not participating would try and cover for the shortage of manpower to alleviate any major delays in train operations for the time period that those who have obtained leave will be absent.

Golf Tournament

In light of the up coming employee golf tournament on Saturday, July 4th, all employees that would like to request leave so that they may participate, should do so in writing by 0800 hrs. Tuesday, June 30th and leave with the on duty Operation Manager.

 

In order to grant all requests, I am presently working with the Union Representatives to ensure that the operations will continue with those employees that have chosen to not participate in the tournament.
